Tablet UI for Windows 7
隨著iPad的熱賣，微軟在平板電腦的市場上又跌了一跤，連微軟執行長Steve Ballmer都不得不承認始料未及，並且將優先發展平板電腦市場。相較於iPad，搭載Windows 7系統的平板說穿了還是一台PC，雖然Windows 7宣稱有強化一些觸控的功能，但要用手指來操作整個PC實在是要人命(至少也該把icon弄大一點才算有誠意嘛)。不過，跟過去的Window mobile一樣，只要是難用的介面就會有人想改，現在有人開始在Windows系統上客製專門的介面，讓整體的操作更適合用手指來操作，說不定可以幫助微軟在平板電腦的戰場上殺出一條血路。
1. Macallan UI

UI Centric專門替Windows tablet設計的UI，有點Zune的味道，介面編排清楚，翻頁的效果也不錯，值得期待！
2. ExoPC Slate

ExoPC推出的平板介面有一堆圓圈頗令人印象深刻，每個圓圈是一個shortcut，可以開啟小軟體、小遊戲、影片、電子書、瀏覽器和線上軟體商店等
3. Thinix Touch

這是一個套裝軟體，可以灌在window系統上，介面中間是放大的icon、上方的tab可以自定、下面則是正在運行的程式。
4. Front Face
整合瀏覽器、程式集、social network，web apps還有類似Windows Phone 7 的「toasts」 notification system，不過目前只有截圖，初版Demo應該近幾週內會發佈。

如果微軟如果還是用電腦的思維來開發平板電腦的話，實在感覺不出會有多大的競爭力，與其這樣，倒不如把Windows Phone 7弄上平板，說不定還比較有搞頭咧 XD。
